Jennifer Garner calls ‘the mess of parenting’ a ‘gift’ and confirms she maintains a ‘healthy relationship’ with ex-husband Ben Affleck for the ‘well-being’ of their children

Jennifer Garner was featured in the latest installment of Variety’s Actors on Actors series alongside Sheryl Lee Ralph.In the one-on-one chat, the Alias alum, 51, and Moesha star, 66, discussed one of their commonalities – being divorced and co-parenting their children.

Garner referred to raising her three kids, who she shares with ex Ben Affleck, as the ‘mess of parenting.’

Ralph, who stars in the sitcom Abbott Elementary, noted, ‘With all the celebrity and all of that, I feel like I have a very normal life, and I think you have that similar sort of vibe. And we love our kids.’

Jennifer replied, ‘And all the mess of parenting. It’s a gift,’ before confirming she maintains an amicable relationship with her former spouse.
