Lopez explained that her decision is rooted in her desire to instill these values in her children.
“I want Max and Emme to understand the value of hard work and the satisfaction that comes from achieving something on their own,” Lopez said. “I don’t want them to feel entitled or rely on my success. They need to carve out their own paths and build their own futures.”
“My parents worked hard to give me the opportunities I had, but they also made sure I understood the importance of earning my way,” Lopez explained. “I want to pass that lesson on to my kids. They should know that nothing in life is handed to you, and you have to work for what you want.”
